A very good qb, who didn't have the best of luck with team-mates. Smart, and an arm like a laser-sighted rifle, he could tear a defense up on his good days. I had the mixed pleasure of seeing him play in the Canadian Football League at the beginning of his career. Mixed, because on the one hand he was great, the prime offensive weapon on some great Edmonton teams, and on the other because he made whipped bitches out of my home town Lions every time they met.

Warren was a good quarterback who could look great at times but he wasn't consistant thry his career. He did have a long career however.

Moon was awesome!!!!! If he had gone straight to the NFL out of UW, instead of going to Canada, he would hold every NFL passing record!

Career longevity, arm strength, and solid numbers are a big plus on this HOFer's resume. . .Moon racked up big numbers for different teams with different systems. . .as a HOF player he gets 5-stars. . .but on an 'all-time' QB list he's a 3 or 4

Warren Moon suprised me by getting in the Hall until I thought about it. How many goons tried the run and shoot and couldn't do it? Run and shoot was all about Moon and I never really realized it!

This guy is a relic. he played pro football for a quarter of a century. Heset numerous passing records. If he won a superbowl, he wwould get more notoriety.

Ever see another QB who could throw like him? Sure he never went to the Big Game, but those playoff losses weren't always his fault - he actually had an 84.9 playoff rating. Will be the first black QB to be inducted in the Hall of Fame, not bad after continually being told you can't do it.

Moon was aawesome qb. I'm from Houston and got to watch his games first hand. He is not a product of the run and shoot system because the oilers got worse when he left. He also had decent years in Minnesota and Seattle.

Moon would have more passing yards than any QB in NFL history if he hadn't played several seasons in the Canadian Football League at the start of his career.

Moon's career numbers benefited greatly from his years in the Oiler's run and shoot offense, but he proved he was a great QB when he left Houston and continued to be effective. The Oilers should have made at least one SB appearance when he was there but they caved in at a disaster in Buffalo. CFL stars against the Super Bowl champs? What rules will be followed? CFL or NFL? The style of play is vastly different. The only thing I can say with certainty is that if the CFL players are good enough to make a NFL roster, they find their way over here. If they get cut by an NFL team, they make their way north of the border. By the way, I do like the CFL game.

Moon put up great career numbers, but his teams were always good, never great.

I watched Moon for the five years he played in the CFL. When he signed with Houston, it was no suprise that he was a superstar in the NFL as well. It is my belief that there is not as big a difference in the two leagues as some would have us think. I think people in the US would be very suprised at the level of play that exists in the CFL. Guys like Moon, Flutie, Garcia to name a few. In fact, I would love to see an allstar team from the CFL play againstg the Superbowl champs. I think that the CFL team would give them a real run for their money. What do the rest of you guys think about such a game?

Moon was good to a ripe old age.
