Unitas.Elway.Montana.C'mon. . .Warner might belong on this list. . .but let's not hand out praise like candy on Halloween. He has a SB trophy- lovely. . .he has gaudy passing stats while playing in a dome. He's a helluva player- but any fan can put several (several) names ahead of Warner. . .

He has 2 MVP's H reached 10,000 yards faster than anyone, 2nd to 20,000 yards. He had injuries and got a bad break out of ST Louis with his coach or he would have hall of fame yard numbers. He took the Arizona Cardinals to the SB and should have won it. He got hurt, had a coach try to tuin him, and got benched when no one else would. Even with the Giants they were in the playoff hunt. I think the biggest indicator is what the Rams have done since he left and how far the Cardinals have come. Brady is considered a hall of fame qb but he had one year where he put the numbers up. He had better teams. But looking at some of your logic he is ineligible now because he only played in one game last year. The person who said he was the worse qb to go to a sb. Well he will have the top 3 passing games in the sb.

Kurt is the greatest qb I have seen. I still marvel when I watch tapes of the rams years. He got screwed and has proved he still has it but every year has to get his job because of Mike Martz. Bulger has never done what Warner did so it wasn't the system. He had the giants in playoff contention and they benched him and won one more game. He almost got the Cardinals in the playoffs last year.

He had a couple of huge years with St.Louis, but as a whole his play has been erratic. A decent quarterback but not reliable over the long haul.

Warner is fifth on the list only because theres been a troll who looks like he has posted about nine times with 5 star ratings. All of the reviews from 1/31/2008 to 4/27/2008 are made by similar sounding IDs, each with no more than 3 total reviews on the site. So...to answer Irishgit...at least one person is blind, and obviously has a really big hard on for one current Arizona Cardinal QB.
Overrated.

Fifth on this list? Are that many people blind..... Won a Super Bowl, but may be the worst QB to do so. No better than average, and limited ability to read defenses.

@ time MVP top 3 im rating, ypa, completion pct. Ist qb to 10,000 yds, 2nd to 20,000. Top 2 passing yards in sb's. Coachs try to sit him down and he beats out the golden boys.
Midwest54 02/17/2008
2 time MVP. 93 passer rating. 25,000 passing yards is way behind Marino and Favre but in a lot less games and within the ballpark of most of the hall of famers. 60% passer. 2 SB appearances 1 win. 27 tds 3400 yards last year. Coach tried to ruin him but he still beats out the young brass draft picks.
oldschool1 02/04/2008
3rd rated passer, 2 time mvp, super bowl mvp, 40 games 300 yards passing, highest completion percentage, 3rd in ypa, 2 highest super bowls yards in a game. twice had 9 300 games in a season. 10 is the record.
midwest3 02/04/2008
2 mvps, sb win, 2 highest passing performances in super bowls. Fumbles to much. Deals with adversity. Being benched when you are 5-4 going to Arizona and being benched. Comes back and throws 27 tds and 3400 yards. Nobody should have to go threw the what he has had to go threw. He could had had a ton more yards.
Midwest1 02/04/2008
He has 2 mvp's and a super bowl mvp. He has had injuries but still has a shot at 30,000 yards. That with his 3rd all time rating and over 60 completion, ypa, top 2 passing totals in super bowl history, over 40 300 yard passing games.
hawky 02/01/2008
2 mvps, 3rd highest qb rating, 2 sb's(1) win, 1 sb MVP. Had some injuries and got screwed by Martz but he can come back and throw for 3400 yards and 27 tds. If he is able to get close to 30,000 yards he is in hof with his other numbers.
hinklede2 01/31/2008
3rd rated qb. Injuries have hurt him but a big comeback this year.
card#1 01/31/2008
A great qb who is underrated because he had some injuries and a coach who tried to hurt his career. He still is in the top 3 in tating and showed this year he still is one of the best. If he is able to put some more yards to his total yards and makes it tyo 30,000 yards and compare that tp the hall of fame qb's he has better statistics than most except for total yards from some of them.
X Factor Z 11/20/2007
If he had 10 seasons as good as maybe a couple he had with the Rams, one was a Super Bowl win, then he would be a Hall Of Famer.
proballer22 02/01/2005
best year for a QB ever in '99 when he won it all
numbah16tdhaha 10/08/2004
Nothing special once the defenses figured him out.
optionfootball 03/15/2004
Are you serious. Hasn't won a game as the starter for the Rams since his superbowl win. He won a superbowl, fine, you could stuff his accomplishments in the game during his career in a grocery bag. Will that be paper or plastic?
