Tough-as-nails QB. Plays hurt, dudn't whine about it. Too bad his team don't have da same work ethic like he does.

McNair is tough as nails and has more guts than a slaughterhouse. The guy plays in pain. He's had some good seasons and I like him. . .but he's not on the top 10 all-time list. . .but he's got my respect for the pain he plays through. . .what a pro.

ALL HEART. Let me echo zuchinibut... this is one tough SOB. He can do it with the arm, the mind, and the legs. Wishful thinking I suppose, but I hope when he is done, we never have to be subjected to any more crap about how black quarterbacks are merely gifted athletes. This guy is a QB, PERIOD, and one of the best regardless of color. Yes, he has had a running attack, but with the exception of Frank Wycheck (who was a TE), name me 2 WR's he has had in his career that you would want on your team. He wins with slim pickings for weapons on offense, and a very porous O-Line. He takes a BEATING and never bitches about how bad his line is, or blames the scheme. He has the mentality of a middle linebacker.

He really is the Brett Farve of the AFC. He steps up when needed and elevates the play of his teamates.

McNair is a tought SOB, and the Titans have been a great team ever since he has been there.
