Sonny had (according to Lombardi) had "the misfortune of playing under adverse conditions" - translation: Sonny played for some shite teams. . .and yes, Sonny drank amounts that would put Ted Kennedy to shame.  (To hear him on Redskin radio is like watching a game with your drunk uncle with a shady past- fun, but sometimes disconcerting.)  Still, Sonny put up respectable numbers with bad teams- and the other reviewers are dead on- Sonny could throw a beautiful pass.  Solid four stars. 

When sober, he could get it done. Anywhere on the fild.

The best pure passer the game has ever seen. My selection for the best quarterback to ever play the game. My childhold hero. Never had the oportunity to play for a good team. Still, the best ever without question!
