excellent actress. it is really too bad she has to be under this category. since it is so unfair that the only roles she could play were maids, or characters like that. Of course she was wonderful as Mammy on Gone with the Wind and won a much deserved Oscar.it sure would have been nice if she had been given the opprtunity to play other roles.

Loved her in every role she played. To think of all the racism she had to put up with back then. Became quite wealthy. She deserved every penny. One of the true greats.
