The area of estate planning is where many (if not all) people make serious legal and tax mistakes. As all situations are different, no software can adequately ask the right questions and draft the optimum documents for one's estate plan. The sole exception to this may be a single person with no issue.

If the estate is at all complex, absolutely. Unless you really like the thought of tying your heirs up in litigation.
