One of the must see stops in any tour of Egypt, Karnak (if memory serves) remains the largest complex constructed for religious purposes. Each succeeding pharaoh added to the construction, resulting in a massive array of temples, columns and statutes most of which are all in relative good shape given the age of the ruins.
