02/04/2007 | I have my tounge pierced, and my boyfriend has it done aswell, and it did not hurt either of us. Getting my ears done hurt more. The tounge peircing is the LEAST painful piercing out there. And it does not cause any searious things unless your an idiot and dont take care of it. After I got mine done I went to the mall and ate fries! And yes it took me a wile, kuz its somethig different that needs some getting used to but it was possibul. And I talked fine. Same with my boyfriend. If your thinking of getting it done but want to know what it feels like first, then take a pin or something and LIGHTLY poke n the middle of your tounge, thats what it feels like.

09/17/2005 | This makes me laugh. most of the people that comment on the pain of a piercing rarely have had it done themselves! Ive had my tounge pierced and it did NOT hurt. I couldnt eat for a day. It hurts about as much as an ear piercing. It looks good and has its perks. honistly dont say it hurts if u HAVE NOT got it done!

03/20/2005 | i think its a bad idea because so many things can go wrong, i know a guy who messed up the enamel on his teeth very badly, a person who got a lisp, and i dont even want to think about what an infection would be like.

01/01/2005 | i got my tongue pierced. first of all, it doesnt hurt until the next day, then it hurts for about an hour (if you take ibuprofen) and if you're not retarded and you take care of it, it wont get infected. also, its only swollen for a little while, and if you suck ice, it goes down really fast. and there are absolutly no studies that relate getting you tongue pierced with cancer (that dumbass who said it would is full of sh*t, its not biologically possible). its definitely fun to have done, and worth the one evening of ice-cream.

09/29/2004 | YUCK! I do not see how anyone can have this done. It's painful, can cause infections in the mouth, and there has been recent studies that tongue piercings may even lead to heart attacks! (Seriously!) So I would never get my tongue pierced, and I DON'T recommend this piercing to anyone.

09/23/2004 | After seeing my cousin and best friend get their tongues pierced, I've decided that it's too painful and downright gross. They couldn't eat or talk for a week. They almost couldn't close their mouths because their tongue was so swollen.
