03/12/2008 | saturdays can be great,for me it depends on alot,like in the fall there are always football games to go to and watch on tv. In the winter not so much,but at least things are slower and you have less you have to do,I usually get alot of cleaning done on saturday afternoons.

12/07/2006 | Yea, Fridays are good, but you still have to go to work, but Saturdays - yes!!!! I have a day off and so I go do whatever I want to do only to find the day is winding down so you sit there in the evening thinking about the next day which is....Sunday! YES!!!!!! Another day off - wahoo!!!!

02/25/2006 | I love Saturdays because you can sleep in, stay up late, and know that you've got another whole day off the next day. The only problem I have with Saturdays is that it tends to be housework day, and the whole morning is taken up with shopping, chores, etc.

12/04/2005 | Believe it or not, although I can enjoy a "Splendid Saturday," everynow and then, I haven't enjoyed them as much recently as I have my "Magnificent Mondays." But, there's Saturday morning cartoons (including Pokemon, Loonatics Unleashed, and a variety of selections from my DVD collection and TIVO recordings), time off to relax and enjoy yourself, and time with family--all of which is great.

09/28/2004 | Saturday is almost as good as Friday. For some reason for me, Friday nights always feel better than Saturday nights. Maybe it's because Saturday lacks late night comedians like Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien.

There's a variety of ways to spend your Saturday, both home and outside. At home you can simply rest (in bed, couch, or chair) with either your eyes closed or focusing them on your favorite (likely some rarely seen) visuals on the set, a TV set if you don't mind. In the outside world, you can check in with a few friends and relatives. Maybe even travel somewhere in town or relatively far way for the time being. Use the weekend, especially Saturday wisely, because it's no different than the zing from Monday to Friday.

Friday's better, well saturday is the day of relaxation, no school, no homework, no suspensions, no expulsions, no teachers, no principals, no terrible lunches from school, no having to get up early, no hard assingments, now this is what I call a day not all those other crappy days exept friday and sunday

12/07/2003 | Although some people do have to work on Saturday, for those who don't, Saturday is a good day to catch up on projects, perhaps clean house. If you don't want to do that, then read, watch tv, relax or go out to eat with friends or family, shop, take a drive, visit a museum, go to the library, go to the park, or just do anything.

07/08/2003 | For most of us a day of no work or school. It can be a day of total shut-down, a day of errands, or party-time. Being a full-time student, I shut-down most of the time, but I do manage to get into my party mode on occasion.

11/11/2001 | SUNDAY:church, getting ready for the next day MONDAY-FRIDAY:either school or work SATURDAY:A day to get up late, watch cartoons or other shows, listen to cds, hang out, do other stuff, and go to sleep late or not at all! It's really the only day you have to settle down and relax, unless you work weekends or like to keep busy.

Saturday=extra practice with the rock band, plenty of time to listen to my Queen CDs, lots of time for Rateitall, get to sleep late, either no or a very small amount of homework, usually a walk to earXtacy to check out the new stock of Queen, R.E.M, Paul Simon and Rolling Stones CDs, time to spend with my best friends (electric bass and various school friends), oftentimes an emergency voice lesson, and wrestling practice=5 star rating. 08/31/2001 | For a second, I was wondering if it is the anticipation of Saturday or Saturday itself that is so great..I think it is Saturday. Sure, you can sleep in, and you may have cleaning and laundry to catch up on (personally, I find myself doing that crap every day) and it may be an errand day. No matter what, you can set your own pace, you can dress casually, get done what needs to me done, and usually have a good part of the afternoon to relax. Saturday nights are great no matter what you do. You can go out all night partying or stay in and watch movies, eat a good meal and lounge around. Saturday is definitely our "stay up late night." It just feels like a free night..no work the next day..Saturdays are probably my favorite!

08/21/2001 | This day is pretty much a double edge sword, kind of thing. It's the day where I don't have to wake up for any other reason than when my cat wants to get something to eat. The day I'm free to go to bed at any time, or maybe not at all. But it, in some ways is my busiest day (in the sense that I'm doing things because I should, not because I have to or want to). I clean the apartment, do my laundry, go grocery shopping, make a 'real' dinner (i.e from scratch) and do the dishes. Bring out the recycling and compost and inspect my plants thoroughly. Then when all that's done, I can just sit back, turn on the TV, and realize that there's nothing on. It's the most 'free' day of the week, just a shame I'm tied up for more than half of it.
