I knew lots of people who went through the "Dirty Thirties." I listened to them talk about it for hours when I was a boy. It destroyed so many lives.

Again, it didn't kill 3000 people immediately, but it did kill, and ruin lives on a huge scale.

Lots of people and animals were affected by the Dust Bowl. It forced many people to move out West to California.
