Walking through fallen leaves on a brisk autumn day 2

"Photographing fallen leaves on a brisk autumn day" - now that I would totally agree with, love the colours of the leaves and it can make for some really interesting photographs. Walking through them however is another point entirely - in Leicester it rains a lot, especially in the autumn, which means the leaves are wet and slippery; add this to the fact I can be pretty clumsy at times and it's not good really.

This is totally me. I also love the smell that comes along with the autumn season.

Too bad Florida lacks the season to allow me this pleasure :( I wish I could still enjoy such things, but I'll settle for the nice stroll ont he beach, instead.

there is a nice calmness that goes with walking through autumn leaves. most of them are so pretty and it is such a short time we get to do that. we went walking through a cemetary this past weekend and it was so nice and peaceful.

just the sound of doing this sounds so peaceful. if alone it gives you a chance to gather your thoughts and if its with someone else it can bring you closer together.

Blurb for the back of a romance novel or not, I've always been fond of this. Makes me feel good, and refreshed and happy. Best when you bring a flask along to keep out the chill.

Irish can have his flask and GoneAway can have her walk, but me... I'll run. Alone in the woods, with nothing to hinder me or distract me. Alone with my thoughts. With only the trees to keep me company I will compete with no one. Some run on machines but the jym is not my scene. I run for me.

Add the smell of a woodburning fire somewhere in the air (or some of those fallen leaves burning in a pile) and it's idyllic.

Seeing all of the colors of autumn can be very relaxing.

You know, looking at the items on this list is like reading the blurb on a romance novel (just kidding irishgit).
