It's always nice to see somebody you haven't seen in a long time and swap stories about how each other's lives have been going. And it's always sad to see them go.

When spending time with a good friend, nothing else matters. Even the food would seem to taste better and sun seems to shine brighter behind the cloudy sky.

It is nice to get that chance to meet a friend for lunch or dinner. maybe because with busy schedules it is not very often. I like getting together just to have some "girl talk" and catch up on each others lives. a nice treat.

A fine restaurant with superb cuisine and fine wines, a cozy pub with a few pitchers and some appetizers, a well-cooked meal at home all do it for me.

Nothing better. A chance to enjoy a good meal and catch up.

Breaking bread with an old friend is one of lifes GREATEST pleasure. Not too shabby with good new friends either.

Chilling with an old friend is great stuff. Works especially well with groups. :)

As long as the food is good, the atmosphere isn't so ostentatious that it detracts from your focus on your friend, and there isn't a lot of extraneous noise to make conversation a chore, it can be very enjoyable.

This is wonderful in a nice, small downtown restraunt that serves good food, good drinks, plays soft music and is dimly lited. Then we could sit, eat the good food, drink a couple and talk(and if it's a friend I haven't seen in a long time catch up on old times) A fast-food or a noisy crowded chain restraunt would not comply.

This would be pretty cool! Of course, no stupid five-star, $$$ restaurant is needed. Bring on Chick-Fil-A!

One of my favorite things in life... preferably at a five-star restaurant in NY or San Francisco, but home-cooked food will do as well.
