laughing makes any day better. Although I always get in trouble for it at school because they say I laugh too much. Sounds like they needed a nice laugh too.

This is what separates man from animal, well most animals anyway. The ability to laugh is a gift and truly one of life's pleasures.

laughing makes you feel good and for the moment forget all the troubles you have

Not only a pleasure, but a necessity, at least for me. Laughing reminds me I'm human and allows me to forget, if only for a moment, about the more stressful things in life.

My friend pointed this out the other day; ever notice how you tend not to laugh when you're alone? You could be watching something on TV that's just hilarious, but not really laugh. It's those times that you DO get to watch something so funny that it manages to make you laugh out loud, regardless of your lack of company, that is really worthwhile.

Very few things are as human or as healing as laughter. If you ask me,a sense of Humor is one of the best gifts our creator/creatrix gave us.

My hardest and most embarrassing laughter usually involves one of my brothers. It doesn't happen often enough.

I love a good laugh. the kind that makes your sides hurt. Or when you can't have eye contact with the person you are laughing with, without starting up all over again. Irish, everything on this Lifes Little Plesure list brought a smile to my heart. Well done!

Laughing is a two-for-one deal. Not only does it feel good, but if you do it often enough, you get toned abs without a trip to the gym.

Laughing so hard that you get your lachrymal glands going is great. Laughing when you choke on liquid or food in your mouth isn't that great. But laughter usually means that you're sharing something with someone else (or you're reading something hilarious like the absurd product warning labels on another one of irishgit's sites - still one of my favorites!). No matter why, it means that you've managed to escape the cares, worries, and frustrations of the moment or of the day.

I've been studying the history of comedy for almost half my life now, so I think laughter is a great pleasure and very important. It helps keep us sane to laugh at the absurdities of the rat race of everyday life. Some people, such as myself, were, in the words of Shakespeare, born to speak all mirth and no matter, and thank goodness for them. From the colorful satirical farces of Aristophanes, the brilliant wit of Oscar Wilde and the laugh-inducing grotesqueries of the Theater of the Absurd to the brilliantly zany tangents of Spike Milligan or the Marx Brothers and the wry social commentary of The Simpsons, comedy is a rich and varied field. I personally love to laugh and make others laugh more than anything else I can think of. God bless the hundreds of talented men and women who have given laughter to us in all its various forms during the past 2000+ years!

Well, there is an old saying: Laughter is the best medicine. And, hey... we could all use a good laugh now and then.

I love to laugh!

One of the best things anyone can do from that soft chuckle to yourself if you've done something amusing or even stupid, to the nervous laugh to calm your fears, to the loud boisterous laugh when joking and having a good time around friends and family or watching a funny movie or television program. Laughing puts everyone in a good mood.

A better curative than any drug ever invented, and the best weapon on earth against stupidity, hypocrisy, arrogance, incompetence, ignorance, conceit, conformity, pretension, idiotic right-wingers, idiotic left-wingers, chauvinists, control-freaks, and every other monstrosity created by mankind.
