11/02/2005 | Yeah New Haven is a hole. I went to the University of New Haven (actually in West Haven) but outside of yale the place is rough....plan on your car getting robbed or hearing shootings outside of downtown. A lot nicer than Bridgeport though...but where isn't? Clean campus..nice dorms...a lot of """White""" parties..if u know what i mean.

05/24/2004 | The only knock on Yale is that it's in New Haven. A bit of a rough city, one of the 3 poorest in Connecticut, New Haven offers many cultural events and restaurants but high crime and poverty outside of the Yale campus. Granted, Yale owns 60% of the city, but that other 40% seems to dominate the pie.
