 | BlueOrchid (41) 12/17/2005 | I think I was born in the wrong era as well...Since I love horses, I wouldn't mind using one for transportation. The only gas it would guzzle is horse food...and it would save us from pollution.

 | sperryc (29) 12/15/2005 | Unlike riding a bicycle, getting around on horseback is extremely manly. If I were a city cop, I would DEMAND 24-hour access to a tempermental horse, which I would name Moody.

 | VirileVagabond (32) 12/01/2004 | Once the mainstay form of transportation, technology has (of course) passed the horse by (and for good reason). The payload for a horse is minimal, and the animal leaves waste along its path. The bottom line is that horse ridding is now essentially a form of entertainment and pastime.

 | winter_spirit (2) 08/27/2004 | While you compromise your comfort, you gain the wonderful sense of nature, which makes the horse an ideal mean of transport. And for all the dare devils, there's galloping (though galloping is hardly a daring task...).
