I absolutely love olives. They are so good. I love eating them as a snack or in potato salad.

Never learned to appreciate the flavor. A little too strong for me.

Olives are harvested in September but available year round to make a zesty addition to salads, meat and poultry dishes and, of course, pizza.

UPDATE AS EDIT: I love green olives, all the best!!! I like black olives that are very good.Hey, if doesn't matter it is fruit or vegetable, anyways, these are best ones in my food!

WAIT, an olive is a fruit? I totally didn't know that.

I don't eat olives often, as I don't care for the flavor too much. I think it's more of an acquired taste compared to other fruits. But here's a bit of info about olives: Supposedly, olives contain an ingredient not found in many foods that helps a person lose weight. So eat them after every meal, and there's a chance you may slim down!

Lately I have been so addicted to Green Olives, I love the sourness, but I hate black olives.

Well, olives being a fruit kind of answers one mystery I discovered while in Peru. Peruvians often serve olives at breakfast, just as we often indulge in bananas, blueberries, or strawberries with our cereals and flapjacks. Some of you might find it strange that avacados and tomatoes are also classified as fruits (as they contain internal seeds). Peace out!

Since when is an olive a fruit.

Great stuff, adaptable and variable. That they are good in Martinis is always a plus. And once again, for the research impaired, they are a fruit.

I really have never liked olives, and I can't imagine why they're on the Fruit list! Oh well. To each his own, I suppose...

Well, I really do like olives very much, but comparing them to sweet fruit seems a little odd. But since we're comparing apples to oranges anyway... let's hear it for olives!

I love these salty little wonders in just about every size, shape or variety. I like the more common green ones with the little pimento in the center, the rich black ones, and all their European and Middle Eastern aunts, uncles and cousins. They’re great in pasta salads, Greek salads, on pizza, or alone. The local delis have recently been offering some pretty imaginative creations too – like olives stuffed with Feta cheese and slivers of almonds – very nice! Be careful though if you’re watching your calories - aside from being tasty little buggers they are also very high in fat.

Never cared for them, probably never will. Yuck.
