03/02/2006 | A good fruit, but a few factors keep it from being a great one. For starters, that pit in the middle of it is just gargantuan and makes cutting it difficult. Also, there's about a mile of distance in taste between a good peach and a bad one. When you get a bad one, you can tell: it's hard as a rock and virtually tasteless.

09/27/2003 | When fresh from the market or tree, it is often crisp, with a light frangrance and sweetness, and as it ripens, it can become very soft and <i>very</i> sweet. Can be used in recipes in a variety of ways, and it is excellent while eaten fresh. While I cannot say it is my favorite fruit, it is a definite must have at least a few times a year.

09/23/2003 | Peaches rock!! They're not as good as nectarines though, which would get six stars if they could. The only thing that sucks about peaches is the fuzz. I can't bite into a peach because the fuzz irritates my lips. I have to cut the peach into sections and eat them that way.

11/02/2001 | Quality of peaches can vary. Juicy, sweet ones are fabulous! Peach cobbler, pie, peaches in fruit salads are good, and peach juice is pleasant. But dry peaches are nasty! A good peach candy is "Peachie-O's"!
