Who doesn't like strawberries? This fruit is one of my favorites and one of the most popular in the U.S. Great sweetness balancing a mild acidity, this fruit has alot to bring to the table (literally) when it comes to jams, preserves, desserts, and all other manner of dishes. I just wish more people had the opportunity to go pick their own from a small farm and see the difference between the collosal "California" strawberries and the amazing little flavor bombs growing in gardens across the country.

Strawberries are the best because they double as a dessert and a health food. Low sugar content yet high sweetness, and oh do they go great with low fat redi whip and your favorite partner!!
