No, I measure acting skills by diversity, and she did well in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind even if most of her parts are a version of Mary Jane Watson.

08/25/2004 | I never really understood this little twit from the start, when she got all those accolades for the little girl vampire in Interview With a Vampire. She has no range or emotion--a vapid bimbo.

02/25/2004 | It's not that I dislike Kirsten Dunst or any of her films. It's the fact that most of them have been teen fluff that does nothing to stretch either acting skills or the imagination. None of her films have been worth much besides a small enjoyability factor. The only exception being The Virgin Suicides. Kirsten is another one of those child actors who grew up to be a popular teen queen and she can't seem to break out of that mold.
