Jennifer Aniston is famous for two things: being Brad Pitt's ex-wife and her role on Friends. Yeah, she is overrated!

The right word here is over-exposed. She was and is on every cover of every magazine like she is the only actress in Hollywood. It is annoying, but I don't think that she is overrated.

She is a good actress and is really hot!

Jennifer Anniston is an over-rated piece of work. She displays nothing more in a character than her bland, vanilla self and that can become tiresome to a person stupidly paying $12 for her movies....let alone an ex who was blessed to be spending days with the lovely and talented Ms. Jolie! Jennifer should perhaps stop burning a wedding dress as has been widely reported and perhaps take a note from those who truly do contribute to this sometimes painful world....with your zillions of $$ maybe you could get past Brad and do more than "appear" at a Fashion Show/Breast Cancer Research Gala. Let me suggest her publicist was behind that move.

Nice girl, bad actress who should probably quit or go back to TV. She has no movie-star potential. She needs to take some darker roles and break that typecast image she has AND GET A NEW BOLD HAIRSTYLE! I really just don't think she's a great actress in the first place, to be honest with you...

I'll agree that's she's been rated too highly. That doesn't mean there's no talent there, however. She needs to find good roles.

Well, she was the sweet girl in Friends... Though, I didn' t like her. And I hated her attitude after the split from Brad Pitt. I know it hurts when u break up but she really transformed the whole story into a soap opera. I mean she went 2 all those magazines and cried in public saying ' I' m a victim, Brad was the love of my life'. There are thousands of women in the whole world that get divorced and don' t make it so public. Good luck for her in her new life but I think that her popularity won' t be so big anymore... her new movies are not so good...

Jennifer Aniston is my favorite actress! I love her role on Friends!

She seems to have a following as an icon for stupid females and horny males only. Unfortunately, there are too many of both in the world. They seem to somehow relate to her as that once popular girl from high school that grows up and has nothing but her youthful looks. The girls wish they could still look like her and the guys still want to bed her. But look up the ratings for the movies she has been in, the critics agree … Talentless.

She was the only good thing about Friends. I wish her all the best. It's bad enough to be dumped, but to see your ex with this sexy man-eater on the cover of the all the tabloids must be mortifying.

She is just sweet. I feel for her. Brad and her matched.. but Vince Vaughn??? I would drop him dear (don't be on a rebound). I hope she makes it big on the TV and Movie screen like never before.. and can rub it in Brad and Angelina's face... and then get a great guy have kids and be like.. you know.. Brad wasn't it after all... Jen listen... don't hold a flame for Brad.. he's useless.

The character she played on Friends is Jennifer Aniston, which doesn't count. She was the worst one on that show (well, Ross was a big pansy) and not too many roles for boring, one dimensional, Jewish American Princesses in Hollywood.

She was only popular from Friends. Soon everybody will forget who she is!

Jennifer Aniston was good on Friends. But let's look at the facts here: She was on that show for so long it would be embarrassing if she WASN'T good. Imagine playing the same character for 9 or 10 years: you'd have it down pat, and you'd be able to read the moods and comedic timing of the rest of the cast so well that your own timing would be impeccable. But when it comes to every other role she plays, Jennifer Aniston sucks. She is the same character every time. I don't know if she plays Rachel or if she's just herself, but regardless, she has the same facial expressions, the same movements, the same laugh, the same tone to her voice. There's no effort on her part to be any different! She got great reviews for The Good Girl, but I think all she did differently was act sullen, morose and bored. Wow! What an achievement! That deserves an OSCAR! Anyway, for some reason, she's managing to hang on to that It Girl status, but I don't see it lasting more than a couple of more years. She isn't beautiful enough nor does she have enough charisma and charm to be a real movie star (like Julia Roberts, who can't really act, if you ask me, but is so much larger than life that I can see why she's so popular); and she doesn't have the versatility or courage to be a really great actor and take on amazing, challenging, different kinds of roles (like Hilary Swank). So once everyone gets over the whole Brad Pitt break-up thing, I predict Jennifer Aniston's popularity will slowly fade into oblivion, leaving only fond memories of that cute actress who was on Friends.

Without her hair and derrierre, she's nuttin' honey. Every movie (and TV show for that matter) she was in never impressed me.

about 2.5. I like Jennifer Aniston. she is pretty good. not one of my favorite actresses. she has had a few good roles. she is pretty likable. hopefully she will get some nice roles so we can see what else she can do. I would not consder her so overrated. I would give her a chance.

Oh, Jennifer isn't so bad. True, her films have been mostly flops(Bruce Almighty being the exception) but she has consistently done good work on Friends. Is she an acting great destined to win awards...probably not. However, she's still quite entertaining and given the chance, maybe she'll prove herself in upcoming movie roles.
