Just think of all the different foreign accents she played, French, Danish, Polish, Italian, etc. Boooring!

10/12/2006 | You can't be serious - she's one of the most versitile actresses of our age. She has more talent than 3/4 of the people on this list combined. She doesn't do a role - she becomes it. I don't always make it a point to see her films - mainly because so many of them are slight your wrists depressing. But, give me a break - you'd have to be in a coma not to see the ability there.

02/22/2005 | Meryl is not in the slightest bit overrated. In an industry run by men, influenced by men and favoured by men, she, as a woman has done exceptionally well to last so long. She's worked extremely hard with a Masters in Drama from Yale. When you look at her work in Kramer vs Kramer, Silkwood, The Hours, Out of Africa, Music for the Heart and her highest number of academy award nominations then you realise what an outstanding actress she truly is.

07/04/2004 | She is a genuinely talented actress who has done excellent work in Kramer vs. Kramer, Sophie's Choice, and most recently, The Hours. She is versatile and has considerable range.
