 | LadyJesusFan777 (39) 10/01/2008 | I'm not that much into cantaloupe. But when I do eat it, I like it to be chilled right out of the refrigerator.

 | AleashaC (0) 09/17/2008 | It is no wonder that the cantaloupe with its refreshingly rich flavor and aroma and minimal number of calories is the most popular variety of melon in the United States.

 | Seraph (9) 03/02/2006 | Good stuff. I eat a salad of watermelon, canteloupe, and honeydew melon, and it often seems to take a backseat to the watermelon, but it does have the advantage of being more consistently ripe and tasty.

 | Randyman (109) 03/20/2005 | When it's good it's very good, when it's bad it's very bad. Have you ever tasted an over ripe cantaloupe? The worst.

 | The Waffler (1) 11/02/2001 | Cantaloupe is sort of bland when it's alone, but is a nice complimentary addition to fruit salads. It, like most melons, should not be eaten by itself.

 | danmuse (0) 09/14/2001 | Never liked them. Nothing personal. It's always disappointing when I ask for fruit salad and it comes out being mostly cantaloupe. I always pick all the cantaloupe out of anything that contains it before I can eat it.

 | CastleBee (85) 09/10/2001 | I've been told that some of the best in the entire world are grown in my own state. These are extremely sweet, juicy and great in the summer. If they are out of season or not ripened just right, I find them to be pretty bland at times. Cantaloupe is a very low calorie fruit so excellent for dieting. I just never understood how my mother could eat them with pepper???
