 | frenchy42 (0) 06/14/2005 | While this was very overblown by the media, anything which involves intentional injury against your competitor is very sick. This is Tonya Harding, who went on to throw tire irons at her boyfriend in a drunken rage and turned to female boxing in cheap nightclubs as a way to make a living. What a basket case!!!

 | VirileVagabond (32) 11/17/2004 | The Kerrigan/Harding feud was not really appalling more than a sad commentary on sportsmanship (or namely the general decline of same). Our modern society seems to be adopting the concept that inequity/unfairness equates with someone being better. Win at all costs comes to mind as well.

 | kolby1973 (32) 12/18/2003 | I will admit that I am still on Tonya Hardings side on this issue. That whiny Nancy Kerrigan doesn't have half the ambition that Miss Harding has...never will...

 | LadyShark4534 (12) 12/14/2003 | This event was just taken by the media and turned into a circus. Let's face it: If Tonya and Nancy were not celebrities, This would have never made the news.

 | StanUzbeck (14) 09/01/2003 | A triumph for white trash everywhere. Neither lady was any kind of role model, and the whole episode came straight from the Jerry Springer school of drumming up publicity. To hell with Nancy Kerrigan, the spoiled little princess, and to hell with Tonya Harding, a more athletic Roseanne Barr white trash princess. This was a wholly American scandal, not an international one, no matter how much the American press hyped it. No one outside of Buttf--k Ohio cared about this story in the first place.

 | DizzyC (0) 07/09/2003 | Hit the bitch, Tonya! Hit the bitch! Yeah, Smack her legs! Hit that little whiny bitch Nancy!
Yeah, Hit her!
*Note the sarcasm*
Okay, Now I'll be serious. Who cares about this incident?
Nancy survived the attack and that's the only thing that matters.

 | AngelSoFine (0) 06/25/2003 | The media made Tonya look like a monster.
My God, People! She's mentally ill! She's not sane! For God's sakes, Have pity on her!
She's a schizophrenic! She's suffered more pain throughout her life than Nancy Kerrigan did in her leg.

 | kamylienne (77) 05/13/2003 | Certainly not the most appalling event in Olympic History by a long shot, but disgraceful nonetheless. It got very overdone by the press.

 | CanadaSucks (45) 05/12/2003 | Sorry, but I thought this was funny. "WHY ME? WHY ME?" Figure skating is WWF on ice. Who takes this seriously?

 | Molfan (57) 02/21/2002 | I am sure the whole world had to hear over and over about the Nancy/Tonya. incident. What I especially found annoying was that this got WAY too much press. It seemed like that was all the news of the winter olympics wanted to talk about. When Ever Nancy and Tonya were by the ice the cameras had to be on them all the time.we had to hear opinions and discussions about Nancy and Tonya. I hated how it took attention away from the other ice skaters who worked hard to get there or from the other sports. The press turned this to an obsession. I am in no way trying to defend Tonya on her part in this. but come on Nancy was made out to be a princess through all of this, I saw enough shots of her pouting and her behavior at Disney World a couple weeks later only showed she was hardly an angel herself.

 | CastleBee (81) 02/21/2002 | Ahh, what a loooong parade of media idiots we had in the 90’s – making this no different than any other era - but still causing one to mist up and wax nostalgic! Nearly anyone would admit that Tonya Harding was and still is one of the more outstanding losers of such consistent, magnificent and rarely observed proportions! Too big a LOSER, in fact, for the classic but simple forefinger thumb to the forehead combination “L” - Tonya rates the coveted “Full Body L” universal loser sign. Next time her name hits the news go ahead and give it a try everyone! You begin sitting down and, on cue (mention of her name), you stick your legs straight out and your arms in the air – voila! Full body L just for Tonya Hit-Em-Hard-With-A-Pipe Harding! Not that I like little Nancy Whine-Me-A-River Kerrigan – but I’ll bet she was glad Tonya didn’t borrow any of OJ’s cutlery back during her first 15 minutes of fame.

 | Jaws (10) 02/21/2002 | It's one thing to give yourself an unfair advantage. It's another to take out your opponent brutally. It's hard to sink lower than this. Don't look so innocent, Tonya.
