This is something I do anyway.

They (and you know how they are) say this is the most popular resolutuion in the U.S. today. I don't know how accurate that is nationwide, but any family I care to spend time with I already do. In fact, I've been told I could stand to back off a bit and do my own thing more now that my mother has 24 hour care. So, my revised resolution is to stay close to family, but make more time to watch hockey.

No, not really. My two oldest kids are adults now, and living on their own, one of them in Ireland. I spend time with my youngest, but he is increasingly indepedent, and finds Dad something of an impediment. That's not a bad thing.

Yes...quality time. It's all about family.

I couldn't possibly spend any more time with my family than I do now. Still, this is a good resolution for most of us. Nothing is more important than family!

My family is very close, sometimes I think we need a break from one another. We always together, every holiday, celebration, birthday, wedding, funeral, anniversary, and sundays. It's all good, but you need alone time as well.

Not my family.

The first day of the new year, I got into an argument with my father-in-law. I'd much rather NOT spend more time with them.
