I try to do more of this, and as I've got older it becomes more pressing. People start to die.On the other hand, there's a few old "friends" that I'd like to catch up to. The bastards have either wronged me or owe me money.

You shouldnt wait so long to do that. You should have tried to do this sooner.

Not a resolution, but this year, out of the blue, I sent Christmas cards to old friends that I haven't talked with in years (life goes on and we get busy). I haven't gotten any back so they must have found their way through the great postal maze. I suppose that it's a sign of getting older... wondering if your old friends still walk this planet... and letting them know that you still do. Which I suppose is why I logged back onto RIA to wish everyone happy holidays. Perhaps Sentimentality and Senility are more closely related than I thought.

I came across an old copy of my husband's family tree. I have all the birth dates of his cousins, aunts and uncles. I plan on sending old fashioned birthday cards this year by snail mail. I'm going to do the same thing with my family.

Yes, two people in particular come to mind. My brother and a cousin, both of them are extremely important to me (as well as some others too), however, sometimes life takes us in different directions and we can't connect as much as we would like. So this is definitely a priority resolution for me in 2007.

I'm trying to stay in touch with everyone all the time. The best way to stay in contact is to be in it consistantly.

Yes you must treasure your loved ones because when they are gone you'll say why didn't I spend more time whith Him or her. I guess it is like the saying goes you don't know what you've got until it's gone.

There is a couple of people I should get a hold of. I haven't seen them in three years. Luckly, I have their phone number.

I plan on going to Florida sometime this year just to see my grandmother. In the last seven years alone, my father, great grandmother, great uncle, one grandmother, 3 pets, have all died. Just 2 weeks ago, my cousins grandmother died. At the nursing home where I work, people die right in front of you. 2004 better be a much better year, because this year just flat out sucked.

This is always something that I strive to do every year. I love catching up with family and friends.

Definitely. I hate it when I get out of touch with people I really like. It just happens, though, as you go through life; there's only so much time.
