Due to location, I ignored many of the reviews about this driving school as well as it's main location in Pasadena. Believe the reviews.

Number 1) This is a 3 week course... the first week the school focuses on getting the student to pass the permit exam. After this the instructor provides handouts with 'fill in the blank' and leaves the students to complete the course. There is next to no discussion, no simulation, nothing.

Number 2) Attempting to schedule drive times for the student... I offered to buy them Quiken scheduling system... Everything is done on paper schedule which is available a week at a time only???? You must be there in person and forget calling into obtain a drive time, it will not happen. Good luck if you are not there to sign up on the initial day for the following week... There will not be an available time for your student to drive!!!

Number 3) The people are not available at the business times listed on the door????

Number 4) When you call the owner... You speak with a very rude, unprofessional person who states "You signed the contract... This is how we do business"

Number 5) Take your student driver anywhere but Gulf Coast Driving School... Teach your student yourself for much cheaper and most definately better than you will obtain here.

BBB, DPS and TEA have been or will be notified by me.

Believe the reviews on all the other sites regarding the AWFUL business practices of this company. They have outlived what once was a decent place to take your student.
