 | meshell (0) 11/11/2001 | Among the many restaurant options for Thai food in San Francisco, Little Thai stands out as one of the city's best kept secrets. Even though the tables are tighly packed and the no-frills interior could use an upgrade, Little Thai makes up for the atmosphere with their great food and attentive service. For starters, try the green papaya salad (a neighborhood favorite) or the deep fried spring rolls, always a reliable choice. Recommended entrees include the green curry (a spicy curry mixed with chicken, eggplant, green beans and peas), or the Pad Seew (wide noodles fried with broccoli, vegetables and your choice of meat in a thick soy sauce). Although parking in this Russian Hill neighborhood can be a nightmare, the combination of fast, friendly service and inexpensive prices (every entree is less than $10), should make the journey seem a bit more bareable. But if you're prone to fits of road rage, you can just stay home -- Little Thai offers a delivery service for orders of $10 or more.
