Keeping in mind that I am rating these items based on both on their significance and on their positive/negative effect, I don't see the killing of Hussein's sons as a significant event of 2003. Like Saddam's capture, it certainly was an important symbolic victory and they certainly got what they deserved, but the situation in Iraq was not substantially altered because of this. Nevertheless, these two madmen got what they deserve, and God willing, their father will too.

after hearing about all the brutality they were responsible for, it is clear to me they got what they deserved.
