a great tank. had good armour, good firepower and good manuverbility. he could deal with panthers and tigers with no problem. although he carried only 28 shells, his shells where much more powerfull than panther's or tiger's shell. for example: the panther's high explosive shell weighted only 4.7 kg and IS-2's high explosive shell weighted 25 kg! on the firing range a IS-2 fired at a captured panther tank. the IS-2's shell penetrated the panthers front armour and hit it's engine while blowing of it's turret and sending the engine flying out of the tank! That's the power of the IS-2 and that's what it could do to almost any german tank! once one IS-2 ambushed 7 german king tigers. he distroid 3 of them and send the other 4 panicing and driving away.
