Witty and constantly creative, Chic-fil-A's cow ad campaign has been pretty successful (as far as I can tell). As another comment noted, using a symbol of one's main competitors is effective, easily remembered, and functions on several layers. Furthermore, this campaign has been rather flexible, as the cows have shown up on billboards, television, and radio.

Cute. Could've been bad, but they keep having new ideas.

Somewhat cute and witty. But it always hit me as a dumb campaign from the get-go. Are the cows dumb 'cause they can't spell or smart because they can spell at all? [In actuality, the cows write and spell more coherently than the last guy who worked for me] And wouldn't it be more PC if the cows were to campaign for something like Ete Mor Vegees or Ete Mor Tufoo, rather than espousing harm to chickens. And why doesn't PETA oppose our wanton slaughter of plants? Aren't they living things too?

Why, My left eye! That's offensive against Chickens! I'm going to file a complaint and start an organization group called CAUD (Chickens Against Unfair Discrimination.)

Transcendent chicken can only equal an awesomely cool advertising campaign! Hilarious, inspired and plain cool. The Cow Superheroes calendar was just too funny!!!

I love the cows, they're cute. Now with the mad cow thing going around, I was kind of looking forward to seeing one of those cardboard cows holding up a sign with a straightjacket on saying See, I told you so!. However, I heard on the local radio's morning show (haven't found confirmation yet) that Chik-fil-A is tastefully removing their long-standing Eat Mor Chikin ads for at least a while to be more sensitive to the beef industry and the mad cow issue. I can appreciate that.
