On the evidence of the number of men in power who have had to stand on the podium with their wronged wife at their side and ask for the public's foregiveness for their sexual misdeeds, I'd say that they weren't satisfied with the politics and opted for the sex.

In my professional experience, the one immutable truth in politics is that no matter who's in power, and no matter what gets done, somewhere somebody's getting screwed.

Hmm...politicians must think politics is as good as sex. Bill Clinton got to screw Monica Lewinsky. Bush is screwing the entire country, from my perspective. And something tells me Bush enjoys politics more than sex, and sadly, he is probably better at politics than sex. Bush is the living antithesis of sexy. Laura obviously finds power to be a great aphrodisiac, for there is no other explanation for a gorgeous lady being with such a clod. She is his saving grace.

Politics are interesting at times, but better than making love? I think not.

Politics is just a tool, power is just a distorted version of servanthood and love. That's why it destroys all it comes in contact with.

Actually, they both usually come hand and hand.

No, but politics is a good way to GET sex.

Politicians are lucky, most normal persons will only get the opportunity to screw a few people. Politicians get to screw millions of people!

But then again, power is the ultimate aphrodisiac!!
