It's okay, but the problem is that if you're not in first and you try to do anything about it, you're probably going to get disqualified. Quite frankly, as much as I like Ohno, the Korean skater four years ago was probably robbed. Unfortunately for Ohno, it looks like Ahn is unbeatable.

Requires a lot of talent, both in speed and strategy.

Short track speed skating is one of the more modern events that are a lot more TV friendly. Speed skating can be a fun sport to watch, but is a lot more entertaining on short track, where you have skaters jockeying for position, and taking much tighter turns. The difference between regular speed skating and short track is like cross country versus alpine skiing.

Short track is such an awesome sport. It's so face pace and you can't help but get caught up in the excitment. It's hard to stay sitting down and quiet at this sport, espcially when your favorite athlete is winning.
