03/18/2004 | The room was very small, the beds were bad, the pillows flat. The tub was small, the toilet was too close to the door. There was not enough room to change clothes in the bathroom. The sink is in the room with the beds. The light from the parking lot was so bright I had to cover the window with the blanket. The pool was great, but there was so much chlorine I lost my fingerprints, and my son's swim trunks turned white, and his hair got very damaged, like it was bleached. The staff did not want to hear that there was too much chlorine, they said it was fine, and it was checked 4 times a day. It faded my son's three year old swim trunks from grey to white in two days! I won't stay there again, the rooms are just too small. The exercise room was very bad also, the treadmill sounded like it was going to go through the floor. The stepper was awful I told them to put both in the trash. This was in Wooster, Ohio.

11/26/2001 |  The overall rating for AmeriHostInn is 4.5 stars but they dodn't have the spot for it. I like the idea of a consistent hotel chain. And AmeriHost delivers. I like the way the rooms look and I really like the way they have the same amenities at every location. I had a crazy time when I went there new years' 2001! as we checked in, me and mom had to get stuff form k-mart so we left and when we got back the manager was very kind to us and greeted us and asked kindly and politeley is we got everything we needed at k-mart. we said yes. Then I decided to check out the pool, it was a little small but it was very warm and extremeley clean. I didnt spend that long in the pool i mostly was in the hot tub relaxing. Then as the evening went on the hotel threw all the guests a little new years party! that was very kind of the hotel to do that! I told them it was a cool idea and the kind manager sid thanks. well anywho...before the party I stayed in the hot tub too long I stayed in there for a half an hour! and at the party I walked funny cause I was dizzy and that same kind manager was concerend about me and asked kindly if I was ok, I said "I stayed in the hot tub too long" and she smlied at me and asked If I needed anything and I said "no I'm fine" I drank way too much pop at the party and I got even worse, I couldn't go to sleep so I stayed up till 5 in the morning and watched the movie "bring it on" a cheerleading flick, that was really cool!Then in the morining I didn't want to leave. I went to the lobby and got myself some cereal form the continental brek-brek (breakfast) and it was good, cornflakes to be exact, and some hyper java-java and I accendentally spilled some on my new khakis and I was a little mad and that same manager was concerend, again about me!!! nicest hotel manager I've seen and I've styaed at hundereds of hotels! and as we left another manager kindly and warmly said" good bye!" and we left for clevland! It was a nice-wild-n-crazy-night and it was a blast!
