It does have a classic look. . .but I can think of many schools with 'classic looks' that might rank higher on this list. . .

Go back to the national championship squad of 1961 (11-0, outscored their opps 297-25). The Crimson Tide unis are essentially the same now as then. Why mess with perfection?

Very traditional, which is cool. I enjoy watching Bama, and although a part of me wishes they had the fancy new jerseys, I like how they are true old school.

Just a classic look for a proud Football school. Penn State, Notre Dame and Alabama are unique in keeping it simple stupid.

I like the fact that at Alabama, you are just a number. It promotes the team concept, just as Penn State's uniforms do. Classy and traditional

worst in all of football

Timeless and classy. Twenty years from now people will be talking about how ugly all these trendy uniforms are, but not Alabama's.

Classic, clean and uncluttered. mhuye showed his ignorance, they wear all white on the road, but NEVER all Crimson. It's sad to see what can happen when a goober with an agenda has access to a computer.

the most boring uni's in college football. All white is horrible and the all red is almost as bad. Numbers on helmets etc. Old school is one thing, but these are ole kindergarten, never even made first grade.
crazzy_cajun 03/24/2004
all I have to say is crimson tide

You have to love how their uni has never changed, even down to the gray face masks. A great, traditional uni. One of the very best in college football. I appreciate how they have not given into Nike, Adidas, or any other marketing company to change their traditional look.
