How can you not like halo?

One of the benchmark applications of Microsoft's X-Box console. Impressive graphics and good controls. Perhaps I'm partial to superheroic plumbers, small creatures that battle each other, and speedy hedgehogs, but this game, while undeniably impressive, just doesn't absorb me like a Nintendo game.

Do I need to recite the reasons why Halo has become a huge part of my life? Besides being beautiful visually, this game delivers in the sound department too. It's sweeping landscapes and ugly alien enemies draw you deep into the superb gameplay. Not only is this game an unbelievable one player experience, it is the ultimate multiplayer fragfest. That is... until Halo 2 comes out.
