09/09/2005 | He has an amazing singing voice. And when he is teamed up with Dominic Monaghan, these two could keep me laughing all night. I loved him LotR trilogy, he was innocent but he had his bad side to him but he kept everyone entertained as well. He was like a little boy.

10/14/2004 | Did he actually sing that song in ROTK? It made me cry (one of many times through-out the movie!) the first time I saw it. Billy Boyd did an excellent job, he's one of my favorite characters.

04/02/2004 | By far my favorite character! It never ceases to amaze me how a Scottish actor in his mid-thirties can portray a character as innocent and charming as Pippin. The childlike innocence in his eyes was so heart-rendering at times that it made me want to cry. But when it was needed, Pippin was always prepared to fight for his friends. Billy Boyd did a fantastic job with Pippin, showing his gradual loss of innocence and his true heroism. Excellent casting for that role!

01/16/2004 | I know everyone says Sean Astin deserves an Oscar as Sam in ROTK, but I was actually more impressed with Pippin. Granted I wasn't very interested in that character or the performance for the first two movies, but I think Billy Boyd really cranked Pippin up a notch in ROTK, and I would say that that was one of the third movie's best performances.

01/12/2004 | Scottsman Billy Boyd protrayed Peregrin Took (or Pippin) about as acuratly as they come. Being a trouble maker who likes to eat. Billy was energetic and ready to go. Made life long friends with his other hobbit friends including his clostest buddy Merry (Dominic Monaghan) who will be hobbit friends for life. Those feet must have been so uncomfortable!
