No political experience, and got off to a rocky start in the primaries. It was evident that he had absolutely no idea where he stood on the issues of great importance in that rate, and he suffered accordingly. While I respect his military service, Clark really lacks the political astuteness to be a successful presidential candidate.

wesley clark seemed to be a very honest and compassionate candidate, and i greatly admired him for that. he was also a moderate for the most part, which this country needs to bring more unity to our government. however, his lack of political experience kept him from the nomination. you never know, we could someday see secretary of defense in front of his name.

Clark's views are relatively liberal, or at least moderate, I guess. Since he is a retired general, he will, for some reason, gain some popularity. In addition, he is from the South. While this should not be a factor, the fact stands that since John F. Kennedy, there has not been another Democratic president elected who is not from the South. Michael Moore also endorsed Clark. You should read what he had to say about him. The only problem is that General Clark has no previous experience in politics.

I just can't respect the general as a candidate. He is the worst of the candidates when it comes to saying anything to get elected. There is no sincerity at all in his political beliefs other than he wants to be president. What he will do as president, only God knows. Amazing that some voters are going to be gullible enough to buy into Clark as a serious presidential candidate.
