Despite his youth and inexperience, I actually feel that Edwards would have had a better chance against Bush than Kerry. Edwards is much more moderate in his views and has not been in politics long enough to have compiled such a large list of flip-flops like Kerry has. The tactic of labeling the Democratic candidate as too liberal by Bush would not work on Edwards as it seems to be with Kerry. Although his inexperience may have been an issue with voters, keep in mind that then-Governor Bill Clinton had no real experience in foreign affairs when he was elected in 1992. However, voters wanted change and elected Clinton. Edwards most likely has more experience in foreign affairs than Clinton (as a member of the Senate). Like Clinton, Edwards is very personable and well-liked, and fortunately has much more of a moral conscience than Slick Willy. Perhaps he is not as experienced as Kerry, but I feel he would have been much more electable than Kerry, and he certainly would have had my vote. Most voters rightly see Kerry as a career politician, and Edwards would have provided a new face that would have courted moderates and independents.

Needs to save the money of those who donated to his campaign by dropping out after Iowa. Absolutely no chance at all.
