Forget about the bloody scandal. Their "reverse lift" sets them apart from the other couples and their Carmina burana program was a masterpiece.

They were clearly the best ice dancer at the time. People who wants to concentrate on the scandals probably have no idea how to appreciate ice dancing or figure skating.

Marina & Gwendal are the most beautiful ice dancers. I enjoy their unique lifts and spins. It is a shame that the Russian mobster had to ruin their gold medal win.

Just to let others know, their gold was indeed a scandal. For years there has been an ice dancing fix, and there's been a fix on most figure skating for years. There were great skaters, but definitely not heroes of the Salt Lake City Games!

She's beautiful. I'm glad there gold wasn't tainted by scandal, because they deserved it.

Marina and Gwendal deserved 5 stars for their reverse lifts. What is a reverse lift? For those non-ice dancing fans, it is a lift where the female dancer lifts her partner. It is an amazing thing. It is too bad that they are turning Pro. I am going to miss their wonderful programs.
