 | Seraph (10) 03/02/2006 | I kind of understand why passionfruit never really caught on. When you're opening them up, it looks sort of disconcerting, like you're tearing into a brain or an alien egg sac. And what you finally come to eating are seeds...wet, gooey seeds. The seeds taste and smell very fruity and pleasant, but passionfruit still makes a better flavoring and additive than a stand-alone fruit.

 | Kairho (11) 10/08/2005 | Passion fruit juice, as served in the tropics, is a bit of heaven. Unfortunately, the version found in US stores is way too sweet.

 | dynovision (0) 09/19/2003 | Like most exotics, this fruit is rare and hard to find. I love it. For those in withdrawels for passion fruit, try dark purple grapes. They have a striking resemblance in character to he passion fruit.
