Well. Its.. uhm... edible. The little square hamburgers are pretty good, when the grease hasn't softened the bun interior to a soggy paste (yuck). For most of the rest of the menu, 'grease bomb' comes to mind as the best description.

Well, it looks like the battle lines are pretty well drawn. You are either a White Castle person or a Krystal person. I tried White Castle a few years ago and wasn't impressed. On a recent trip to Kentucky I decided to give Krystal a try. I got the four burgers with fries and by the time I finshed the first burger I was wishing I had got the bag full of burgers. I don't see how anybody can prefer White Castle's fart burgers to Krystal.

Ugh. Fake White Castle. The burgers taste weird, I think its the mustard they put on them. Even if you hold the mustard the burgers still taste strange.

Where we live there isn't a Krystal so whenever my husband and I see one we stop in. THEY ROCK!!!!!

Perfect late night food; interestingly, these petite burgers are meant to be eaten with mustard only..adding ketchup only hinders their taste!

Similar to Whte Castle. Not as many onions, buns a little to fluffy. Make sure to hold the mustard if you don't want it; otherwise it's automatic. Better sack (actually a box) for an order of 24.

Another high-quality QSR (quick-service restaurant) , one I didn't know was unique to the Southeast. Their Krystal Chiks are great and cheap. Their french fries are also very well made and taste great. Their other foods are great if you like small foods or want something cheap or in bulk. Service is typically quick as well.

hamburgers are not my fav fast food of choice, but they do have some good chili cheese fries. not to mention the chicken krystal sandwich..

Freash, hot, small, square perfectly describes their great small burgers. Most people may consider Krystal a White Castle clone, but they are actually the Southern version of the popular chain. Krystal restaurants can only be found here in the South, which makes them very special among us. Eat a Krystal and you may find a great difference between it and White Castle burgers.

By far the most consistantly better quality FFR in my area. (The menu is so simple; how could you screw THAT up? ;) I have always had above average quality product in any Krystal location I have visited in the state of Georgia. Sometimes the service rendered could & should have been more efficient, but, compared to other FFR's available, this organization seems to have most (but not quite all, yet) of it's priorites in place.

White Castle is better....but in the south you just have Krystal. There good too..but please tell them to hold the mustard!!!No White Castle would be caught dead in its greese with mustard.

I love those little hamburgers ("sliders")! Wish they had them in my area.

I guess these are okay, but they really are just a White Castle wannabe. All I can think of when I see one of these restaurants is that this is where country singer Crystal Gayle got her name. Her mother must have really craved these things when she was preggers!
