After reading some of these blunders and gaffes, I have come to the conclusion that George W. Bush should after his presidency get his own library like all of the other presidents, and the first book on the shelves should be "George W. Bush's Dictionary and Thesaurus Filled with Words from the English Language Mirriam Webster Forgot to Include."

It shows the mindset of Bush supporters (not conservatives or liberals) when they insinuate or just flat out state that fooling people, by acting like one but really being this mastermind is somehow good! What, do they like the fact that a person lies, steals and manipulates people for their personal gain. If you do, then Id venture to think you are that type person. Great politician is not a positive thing. Yeah, Bush is just fooling us all, lets see how good that is 15 years from now when this country is so far in debt that were paying on the interest only. Its simple math you fools, but hey, Ive got a plan B and when the ship sinks, Im not going to be on it. At least Ill be able to sit back a watch all you cheerleaders that actually buy into this brilliant hick theory cling to the floatation devices (propaganda) till the end. Youre all frogs in the water right now and its just getting warm.

Apparently so.

He can't put together simple sentences AND he makes up words. Why on God's green Earth was he even elected? How did he even get through school with that garbage?

Magellan could not have summed it up any better. Liberals need to get a grip on the fact that they are dealing with a brilliant politician who is leading history in a direction he wants to go. It's that simple. This Bushism however is one of his best. He personally has actually poked fun at it on many occasions.

No, Dubya. . .they didn't. Although this certainly isn't the funniest blunder on the list. . .

This was a great book, novelesqe at times as the author takes you on the sneak trip to Baghdad with Bush, or the famous laning on the Lincoln. Others it's candid interviews with the likes of Rice Bush Rove and others. The plan on the war on terror is laid out and there is a great section of unsavory far left journalists being picked up by some key news outlets simply for trashing the war. Well worth your time!

I have difficulty parsing this one. Does it mean: (1) that people assumed he was an idiot but he turned out to be an imbecile? (2) that people thought that he was moronic, weak and lame but had no idea to what extent? (3) that people thought that he could only do so much harm in one or two terms of office? (4) that people thought he was merely stupid and green, but he also turned out to be reckless, arrogant, remorseless and dangerous? Whatever this is supposed to mean, it stands as one of the classic Bushisms, a statement that makes Dan Quayle come across like Einstein in comparison.

There was a nice analysis by Al Franken in a foreward of the Bushism book that states that the word 'Misunderstimate' brilliantly captures the deceptive political savvy of GWB. While the Dems focus on trivial things like Bushisms, GWB has quietly done just about whatever he's wanted as President. In other words, those that misunderestimate GWB because he uses words like misunderestimate are completely missing the point - this man is extremely effective politician. Write him off as a bumbling moron at your own risk.

I don't really miss underestimating him at all.

Yes, the Democrats certainly did.
