I love political rhetoric, don't you?

It rarely makes any sense. George W. Bush personified that. Going over this list reminded me of that.

I guess he was trying to say that we wouldn't raise taxes? Isn't it much easier to say that. But yet how many politicians want to go out on a limb and make a promise like that? Look at what happened to Bush's father.
