Although the French automotive industry occasionally produces something worthwhile (the old Citroen TA, and the 2 CV), overall, I'm not too impressed. It's probably no accident that Peter Falk ran around in a battered Peugeot in the Columbo series. Sort of epitomizes French cars in my mind.
