Actually, the more extreme Republicans might argue for abolishing the minimum wage altogether, meaning they'd have to work harder in their McJob for the same net pay. Just like certain Democrats feel bias toward thinking businesspersons as corrupt, certain Republicans feel bias toward thinking poor folks as simply lazy. Oftentimes, associating with many folks from all walks of life reduces prejudices.
