10/15/2004 | Well, as a rank-and-file republican, I did subscribe to this mindset. Once Bill Clinton was elected and the thong-snapping began, I found myself explaining all kinds of things to my grammar school aged children, and Bert & Ernie's relationship ceased being such a hot issue. I'll always appreciate Bill Clinton for helping to bring up so many important issues for four, five and six year olds to discuss and inquire about. He was one great president. I wish for all you liberal democrats with grammar school age children to be required to explain what a blow job is, because all the kids on the bus seem to know. Man, I miss the 90's and America claiming the moral high ground the way we did.
