Jimy Williams is a great manager and works really good with young players. I'm a huge Astros fan, but I was ashamed at all the fans who booed Williams at the 2004 All-Star Game. He did not deserve it one bit. He did everything he could for the team but couldn't give us a playoff team. He deserves a round of applaus for his work with the Astros. I like Phil Garner and I think he'll be good for Houston. I would like to see Williams try his hand in college baseball.

The Astros were supposed to make the playoffs, and now they're struggling to stay at .500.

Jimy got a raw deal with the Astros. The front office destroyed the bullpen by giving away Wagner. Half of our starting rotation has been injured. And the offense has completely tanked. The front office and players deserve the blame, not Jimy.

I think he's an idiot. Couldn't manage a paper route. Doesn't handle talent well and on field decisions are suspect at best.

This guy has done dreadful for a team with great young talent. Roy Oswalt has been overpushed by this sack of lard, and Morgan Ensberg, despite the hot bat, has been sitting on the bench because this prick likes proven veterans who hit .255... if he's not canned in 3 years, I will align full-fledged to the Cubs. FIRE JIMY WILLIAMS!

Luckily,Bobby Cox's lackadaisical style of managing didn't affect Jimy the way it has some of the Braves players.

Another bad decision by the Braves. I'd take Williams over Cox any day. I think he could take the Sox all the way if the owners would sign starting pitchers to compliment Pedro. He seemed to handle to Carl Everett problems in late 2000 well.

I dont pay ANY attention to this guy, but if hes the manager of the Red Sox, and the last time they were IN a WS was in 1986 and they lost, I dont give him much credit
