12/09/2006 | well there was flair of the eighties and HHH of today.The heartbreak kid was inbetween.Using many cues from his idol Ric Flair Shawn placed himself into contention as being the best worker of his day and continues along side his master and his protege(flair and HHH respectfully)to fascinate fans with his ability.Never liked him early in his career as a Rock and Roll express rip off but he matured into an impressive performer.

07/12/2006 |  First of all, Shawn Michaels is argueably the greatest worker ever in history, but at the same time he's also the most controversial ever. The people who say that he's not a good wrestler are surely Bret Hart fans, because he screwed Bret Hart. To know about Michaels's ability one must hear from his critics. Bret Hart hates him like anything, but even he too admits that Michaels is an extraordinary in-ring performer who is unmatched. This guy is the epitome in every department .... mesmerizing performer, mesmerizing promo cutter, mesmerizing charasmatic, etc. He is the olny person who have been able to carry poor workers like Nash, Sid, Hogan, Vince, Masters, etc to good matches. He came back in 2002, 4 years after his retirement. Since then he have been producind 'Match of the year' every year - 1) HBK vs HHH - 2002; 2) HBK vs J2J - 2003; 3) HBK vs HHH vs Benoit - 2004; 4) HBK vs Kurt Angle - 2005 .... WRESTLER OF THE YEAR - 2003,WRESTLER OF THE YEAR - 2005. Even his hated critics consider him as one of the very best ever. And the only people who don't consider him great are the pissy Bret Hart fans. I too am a Bret Hart fan, but not a pissy one of course.

08/24/2005 | There will always be a place in my heart for Shawn Michaels. Shawn put in alot of years before he became the main event. He earned his due. Some wrestlers are good at the mic, and some are good in the ring. Shawn is the best at both. Bret Hart was good, but not this good. Bret was a terrible heel, probably because his ego wouldn't let him be the bad guy. All around Shawn had better ring abilities then Bret. Don't get me wrong I love Bret Hart, but Shawn is the best there is the best there was and the best there ever will be.

what more can be said about this man he has the ability to make every match he is in special a rarity nowadays.One of the only grandslam winners in wwe history which means he has held every belt there is to hold.The remarkable thing to me is that he accomplished everything in the wwe and then he broke his back and slipped a disk and was out for 4 years.that says to things to me personally what a man to come back from those career ending injurys and preform to some level not the level he used to but still awsome ,and the second thing is what could of he done if he didnt get injured and never missed 4 of his prime years?just goes to show how great the man is.he still wrestles to day because the wwe need him and he can still out prefrom most of the wrestlers on raw overall he is a legend and has to many 5 star matches to mention all i can say is thank you HBK for your dedication and preformences over the years

06/28/2004 | HBK is one of the greatest wrestlers of all times. He is in his late 30's yet he can still put on a good match. I love his music and what he wears to the ring. I'm 13 and I think he is GORGEOUS. Vince McMahon should give him a title shot because lately all he has been used for is making other wrestlers look big. I think Kane will win the championship from Beniot, beat HHH at Vengance and then HBK will return and beat Kane for revenge! I LOVE HBK!!!

I wish Andre the Giant could leap from his grave and swing that punk around by his Motley Crue wannabe hair. The fact that he's even been allowed to look at the WWF championship much less carry it, cheapens it's value for greats like Backlund, Hogan and the Rock.

05/08/2004 | Super worker. Worked some of the greatest matches of the 90s, most notably against Diesel and Undertaker. Gets some points docked for being a pain in the rear and refusing to job to several wrestlers and walking out due to injuries. From all accounts, he's a born-again Christian who's cleaned up his act backstage, so for that I commend him. In the process, he's still putting on **** matches in his late 30s.

03/14/2004 | Shawn Michaels always had a spark that others didn't; wrestlers like Steve Austin can give the fans goosebumps more efficiently, but Michaels is one of perhaps two or three pro-wrestlers who have the ability to tweak the fans' emotions by way of no more than a small facial gesture. He has enjoyes some of the greatest matches in wrestling history, though the much-hyped Iron-man was abysmal. It is sad that nowadays his many talents have become subordinate to his off-screen character, which is why many fans are irritated by his gimmick. For me, though, no amount of crass scripting will be able to detract from the great nights of Michaels' career. By the wa, if people hadn't noticed, he has spent most of the last year giving useless wrestlers like Mark Henry (whom Vince McMahon will always have an inexplicable desire to push)a chance to look good by proxy, to the detriment of his own reputation. I think this must surely balance his less pleasing backstage antics of the past.

06/27/2003 | Shawn took WWF athleticism to new height in his championship runs in the 90's & has brough new energy to the WWE with his recent comeback. His epic matches with HHH prove that he is still the best Big Match performer of all time. His promos have aleays sucked, but he makes up for it with his stage presence. Certainly one of the top 10 or 15 of all time.

06/14/2003 | great skills in the ring,able to get over with the fans as either a heel or babyface and his mike skills aren"t too bad as well...BUT,that was 1996,he isn't the same guy he once was,his skills have deminished somewhat,his latest title run was a joke and was only given to him thanks to some close friends(vince&hunter)and this whole BORN AGAIN gimmick isn't fooling anybody,shawn micheals will always be the guy who helped SCREW BRET!!!

12/11/2001 | Michaels was tremendous. NOBODY bumped as hard or as often as Shawn and HIS Hell In The Cell was a ten times better match than Foley's. The Ladder Matches are the stuff of legend and their success changed the way matches in the WWF have been boked ever since. He refused to job the title and was allowed to "retire" a couple of times without doing the "honorable thing". Not a very good testament to the size of his ego but a great bit of evidence as to how much respect he earned in the locker room. Five star matches were a normal occurance and he even made guys like Vader and Nash look great when working against them. He's still the best "Showstoppa" I've ever seen next to Flair.
