the ending of the last one did not have to be in proportion to the whole series way to long but great movies

It obviously is... Star Wars is boring.

If being long as hell and requiring a dozen bathroom breaks makes a great epic, then this one definitely should be at the top of the list.

Definetly the most dramatic epics of our time. Unfortunatly, I couldn't apprieciate ROTK in it's full value, because that was the first of the 3 that I saw. So I had no clue what was going on. But I still think that the 2nd is the best. The battle at Helms Deep is amazing! Just everything about all 3 of them are fantastic! Peter Jackson did a fabulous job and picked extrodinary actors and actresses for these movies. Sir Ian, Orlando, Viggo, Andy, Dominic, Billy,Elijah, all of them. And the characters are so real. From the high spirited duo of Merry and Pippin, to the serious and sexy Legolas. Everything about these movies is awesome, and it makes you want to watch them again and again.

THE best trilogy I ever saw. Great acting, great scenery, and great characters.
