Just great! When first issued, Brando took lots of heat for his portrayal of Vito Corleone. Now he sets the standard. How times change.

One of the great American Films of all time.A great book turned into a great script.Excellent Direction by Francis Ford Coppola who has an incredible eye for casting.

Absolutely fantastic (parts 1 and 2), however Coppola has a tendency of overstressing on certain dramatic events and prolonging them by making them extra detailed which makes him rush through certain other sequences. The movies can only be appreciated best by those who have read Mario Puzo's book first. Anyway, why part-3 ??

I know many people think this is a great movie, but I always hated it. I just could care less about the activities of a bunch of hard-bitten crooks. When I was a little girl, my parents watched the movie on TV, and I happened to walk in on the scene where the man wakes up to find his horse's head lying on the foot of his bed. That scene terrified and traumatized me. It still gives me the creeps.
